Install Mac Os X On Hp Probook 4540s Charger
Hello Everyone, As you may know, HP ProBook 4540s (i7-3632QM, AMD Video Card) is made of some metal frames (panels). When the notebook is charging via adapter (or just is plugged in), the surface of the metal frames have some 'vibration' which is quite annoying for me since I am translator and have to type almost all the day (the same effect refers to the lid which is also made of metal). Of course, the plastic bottom has no 'vibration' at all. I was told in the shop, where I bought the notebook that this effect is due to absence of proper grounding in my home socket. Indeed, when I install grounding in my home socket, the vibration has disappeared. However, since I cannot install sockets with grounding in all buildings I may live in/work in, can someone please explain to me what the nature of this effect is? Is it something like magnetic/electric field?

Is it dangerous for a human's health, if you feel this 'vibration' all the day with your fingers? I bought this notebook about 2 months ago, and no one has clarified this issue so far. Well, I do not want to sell this ProBook, it has perfect configuration for me and is very fast, thus it would be great if someone can answer my questions. Thank you so much in advance.
Giorgi Jamalashvili. Dear HP Expert, Just for your information: of course, I have spoken with the reps of HP in my country, but they told me that the laptop is in good condition, there is no technical problem with the laptop (adapter is OK as well). However, no one can explain to me exactly what is the nature of this vibration. Someone told me it is electrical field, and so what? Is it dangerous for a human?
Is there any certificate which states that this is OK for human's health? I have to type 24 hours whole year and do not want to be affected by any unknown fields generated by a laptop.
Hope you understand the issue. I do not want to change my ProBook to a laptop with plastic frames. This is solution in case I do not receive any understandable reply, but first I would like to receive official answer from the HP. Thanks a lot! Regards, Giorgi. Regards, Giorgi Hello Giorgi_Jam. Any device that uses circuits or electricity is going to give off a. This is because all electric currents create these fields. They are minimal and nothing compared to the magnitude of say, the magnetic field you are always in contact with from the Earth or Sun. I wouldn't worry about this. To get to the question of what could be causing the sound coming from your computer I'd wager it is the hard drive or cooling fan.
These are (normally) the only two mechanical parts in the notebook. As such, they are the only two which could be causing vibrations. For the record, my computer at home does this same thing (and is not a branded computer such as an HP or Dell) and I'm certain it is the hard drive which is vibrating.
First, I suggest you ensure the cooling system is free of dust and debris. This should help if the fan is the cause of the issue. Covers the process. Did any of the agents have you test the hard drive? That will also be a good step to take.. Have a wonderful day. I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Good evening AttackofZaq, Thank you so much for your time and detailed reply. However, it seems to me that I have not expressed my problem as accurate as needed. I will try to reword it for better understanding, as follows: 1) Description of the problem: all metal surfaces of my laptop is 'vibrating'/'biting'/'tickling' when I touch them with my fingers/hand. This happens only when the adapter is connected to the laptop.
'Vibration' happens in both cases: when the battery is charged or not charged, thus 'vibration' is permanent. The 'vibration' disappears once I disconnect the adapter; 2) There is no sound coming from my laptop, therefore I do not need to test either the HDD or the fan; 3) Metal surfaces of my laptop start 'vibrating'/'biting'/' tickling ' even I have just Internet cable or printer USB cable plugged-in to my laptop (when the adapter is not connected to my the laptop); 4) The most of the explanations was that it was because of a socket without grounding (earthing) in it. OK then, I have called for electrician and he installed one socket with grounding in my house. After that there is no 'vibrating'/'biting'/' tickling ' - this effect has disappeared.
But I bought a laptop for its mobility - I travel much within my country and the problem happens again in every building which has no sockets with grounding. It is very annoying for me since I am translator and have to type almost all the day. 5) I know that someone can tell me, 'hey man, why do you think so much about this? Just sell your laptop and buy a plastic one!'
OK, this might be a solution, but. When I visited most of computer shops in my town, I noticed that almost all other brands with metal surfaces have such effect: ASUS, LENOVO, SAMSUNG and even Apple MacBook. Can you imagine it? But one half of people do not pay any attention to it - they just do not feel it. But, there is another half, like me, who really feel this effect, and I do not like it. It disturbs me during my work. I need at least to know exactly what the nature of this effect is and if there is any way to eliminate it totally.
Hope I explained the problem in full. Once again I would like to thank you for your time. Any useful advice will be appreciated much! Fl Studio 11 Reg Key Download on this page. Have a nice day! Regards, Giorgi Jamalashvili.
