Beast 2.07 Download
Comment by joelsfallon This named mob doesn't have a rare mob loot table, nor is it used in any quest objectives. Its only purpose is to serve a Hunter as a unique Pet. It has a lengthy spawn timer and can be found at the ends of the Stormwind Canals, such as right outside Stormwind Keep. Unlike most rare mobs, he doesn't wander after appearing, remaining stationary at whatever spawn point it happens to be. He is also unique in that he is the only tameable mob in the entire game to regularly spawn inside a capital city.
Serie carina, e girata molto bene. A mio parere, se le scene romantica sono un po’ stucchevoli, le scene di action valgono la pena. Aspetto con ansia i prossimi. Nov 30, 2017 New Album Releases – download full albums, daily updates!
The creature is very large, is yellow/brown with a light tint of white coloration on its body. Three young boys that fish the canals will sometimes talk about the Sewer Beast, but this is in no way an indication of his spawning. Also it has been rumored that the creature is likely to spawn between 8 and 10 AM server time.
He is probably a reference to the common urban legend of aligators living in city sewers. In the World of Warcraft beta test, the Sewer Beast was the largest tamable creature in the world, approximately the length of eight human characters lying down on the ground if lined up head to toe. After pet size normalization, he no longer has that distinction, but is still one of the least-seen hunter pets on most servers. Comment by tigereye 'it was valintine and love was in the air i look into the canals at the floating candles fealing the romance in the air i looked away and when i looked back something wasnt right i looked and 1 candle was missing looking for the candle i saw a shadow of something big.
I couldnt see clearly because the water was so murky so desided to get on the peir over the canals and right beside me i heard a crack so i looked over and saw there was a little crack i looked closer then the crack breaks open in to a hole and something from my nightmares appearned a crockilisk that was pure white and bigger than any that i have every seen. Wondering how something that big had gotten into stormwind i was weaker but with my scorpion beside me i had courage. I charged in and it was a bloddy battle my pet was cut bad and i wasnt doing better the crokilisk saw the advantage and stood on hind legs to crush me and i stroke with my polearm and inpaled him through the middle and talk to a guard he said the he had a bounty on his head i claim the massive bounty. ' all in the days work. Comment by Glows On my lvl 14 mage with my 13 warlock friend, we were fishign together having fun and such, my friend deicded to hop in the water and cover my bobber, when he didn't come bakc up from his dive, and died instantly, like in a horror movie when you go under but don't come back up, I jumped down and saw him charging at me, and my friends corpse, I was scared, tried to run, sadly swimming decreases your speed, as for crockolisks, it increases speed, it caught up in no time, one hit us both, would have made a perfect horror movie, I wish I had my fraps turned on..
Comment by Girlcaster When I was just a 50 mage, I was walking over a bridge in SW, when suddenly my cursor turned into a sword, And I say the words, Sewer Beast level 50 Elite. I had heard about the Sewer Beast but never seen him.
I ran to the docks by the kids talking about the Sewer Beast in a legend sort of way AS IT SWAM IN FRONT OF THEM. I was in an Uldman group and got another mage from the group to come help me kill it. As we just about attacked it, this level 1 Rouge whispered me saying, (Don't kill it, my hunter friend wants to tame it). But I was determined to see wat dropped. Imagine my dissapointment when after 2 deaths of us mages and a fight between me, the other mage and 2 SW guards, vs.
The Sewer Best a pointy crocisk tooth dropped, along with a very mad lvl 1 rouge. Comment by CountKill DESPITE what the people above me say. He is not hostile to Alliance. I saw him a LONG time ago on my noob warrior and I was really freaked out. But I was curious and went closer, and closer, and even closer until we were going through each other. He/she/it didn't attack me. But because I thought I could get away (like I said I was a NOOB at the time) I attacked it.
Hit me for 500. Also a little note to the high levels out there: If you see it please don't kill it, others will want to check it out too. Comment by Fruhauf Justin says: You know there are crocolisks in the Canals. They were brought the swamp as pets, but got thrown in the canals.
Brandon says: Sounds kinda like one of Billy's fish stories to me. Roman says: I thought I heard something. Roman says: I don't think there's any fish in these canals. Roman says: Eww. That's not a fish! Roman says: I hope that was a fish! Roman says: Something smells funny.
Roman says: I think I see something. If you're ever fishing off one of the docks in SW by the 3 boys, they do occasionally talk about the Sewer Beast (among other things). Clearly Roman is the scardy-pants of the 3, and constantly says something related to thinking he sees the crocolisk.
Justin says: There is no spoon. Brandon says: That's neat. Comment by Vmoller10 I heard about this beast when i first started playing and have been afraid to jump in the canals because of it for a loong time. I know, im a chicken:D But i get easily scared:D But now my hunter was 80 and i remembered the tale about the beast so i startet checking here for info about it. I have been looking for about a week and was starting to belive it was a great scam:( I was checking the canals in the morning and every hour and spamming /tar Sewer, but nothing. But yesterday 2/10-09 at 4:20 pm i found him!
Right outside Sw Keep slacking in the water.:) He only did like 220-280 dmg to me at a time, so it was no problem taming him. I must say i was a little dissapointed when a saw that he lost alot of his hp pool and actually getting smaller when he was tamed.
I just got used to the idea of having a 17k big buch of meat attacking and thunderclapping my enemies. If you are a hunter your Tracking Beast abillity would help alot for finding him, and no, you dont have to be in the water. The red dot in the canals is not easily ignored:) Wupwup 80 Nelf Runetotem. Comment by icalyn So, for all of you out there who are wondering if the Sewer Beast still exists, it does. I just tamed it after looking for less than 24 hrs. I did not camp it constantly, but instead just searched the canals while I was in Stormwind for other errands. I would drink an 'Elixir of Water Walking' and run around on the water for the 10 minute duration.
I also had 'Track Beast' on and, it shows up on your mini map as a Red Dot just as any other beast would. This crocolisk is a beauty with very unique looks. Definitely worth the wait, and I don't remember seeing anyone on my server with one. Anyway, here's the info. Server: Kael'thas Coords: 59.0/44.0 Time: 12:39pm Server. Comment by Beka6669 oh my goodness. The last time i saw this beast it was still a (?) to me, now im a 72 and i finally found him, and tamed that sucka!
I was so excited! I've been looking for him too. Not camping out or anything, but everytime im in SW, and bored, i'll run around with my track beast on, down to the end of the canals.
But like i said, its been like 50 lvls since Ive seen him easy tame, and im a little disappointed that he doesn't keep his elite status like my devilsaur did, but still a rare pet and the fact its been so long. Darkspear, around 12:15 server time. Comment by ClopinWrynn I've been hunting this beast since before Cataclysm with no luck, thought it no longer existed when Cata came out until I kept reading comments indicating otherwise.
Finally tamed him about two weeks ago with my level 70 hunter, so it wasn't difficult, found at approximately 46.4, 71.0. Turned in the daily cooking quest, turned around, took a few steps and there was a random red dot amid the yellow ones. Put my cursor over it which said 'Sewer Beast', jumped in the water and there was the albino crocolisk. Rarest rare spawn I've ever hunted, never have I had to wait so long to find it. I kept reading that he spawns between 8am and 12pm, but I found him in the middle of the night, so the times are in no way any indication of when he'll actually pop up. A friend of mine had actually started doubting he existed anymore, but once he heard that I'd found and tamed it he believed! This beast shows up as a red dot, the only red dot in the canals these days with no Horde trying anything, so he's pretty easy to spot on a hunter's beast tracker.
He's still out there and he's a ver unique beast, never really seen anyone else with a white crocolisk. I was tempted to tame a white one out at Stormspire in Netherstorm, but I'm glad I didn't. If you're on Uldaman and see a NE hunter named Taanipu with a white crocolisk named Monty, yes, folks, that IS the SW Sewer Beast XD Server: Uldaman Hunter: Taanipu (lvl 70 NE).
Comment by sarius I remember this guy from my very first week playing WoW on it's launch. It one shot my friend, we were both really low level and it was was the first 'skull' level mob we'd seen. WoW was new to us back then and was all about exploring and learning the world. No Wowhead or Allakhazam, itemlevel, nobody cared about loot, heck I didn't know anything beyond 'green' quality armour even existed. So we saw this guy. And kept swimming closer to him, afraid of what might happen.
But nothing did. We kept edging closer.
Kept testing its patience. With sound on full (cuz back then. No messing with settings for me) - the croc struck my friend, and 1 shot him.
Instantly killing him with a loud roar. I absolutely jumped out of my seat in terror. One of the best memories of WoW I have.
Those were the days. Comment by Aaeiyn I've only seen this twice in my four years of playing WoW. The Sewer Beast, I believe, is one of the rarest mob in the game. The first time I saw it, there was a bunch of alliance toons gathered in one spot of SW close to the canal end, and I only saw it's corpse.not sure if that really counts as 'seeing' him. The second time, a friend had to point it out to me, and I saw him alive for the first time, and I killed it. I have yet to find him alive without help from others LOL.
I heard that he spawns the same with Lil' Timmy, the rare vendor that sells the white kitten, but I believe this is false because I checked the canals for the sewer beast, either it did spawn, and I was too late, or this statement is false, I don't know. All I know is, it's always a joy to be apart of the viewing of this mob because like I stated before, he's the rarest mob in the game. Comment by cwsparrow I just killed him on Draenor tonight approx 1AM server. All I got was the tooth. I saw him all the way in the back of the canal by the entrance to the SW port.
He was under the dock where the kids were talking about him. After I killed him, I checked here to read the info on him. Now I feel bad, I should have yelled for a hunter. Oh well, but at least I can say he for sure still does exist as of 4.2. I always had a hunch there was something since I aways heard those kids talking about him. Comment by Rosaellea THE SEWER BEAST LIVES. I have a thing for rare spawns, so naturally I had heard of the legendary sewer beast pior to my encounter.
However, I never farmed him. But today, a friend and myself were goofing off in stormwind. We would fly up into the air and then remove our mounts and see how far we would fall without dying. On one attempt, as I hit the water I was left with minimal life, and then POOF. I rotated my screen to see none other than the Sewer Beast himself.
I quickly respawned and ran back and tamed him (im a 72 hunter). And then took a moment of glory to scream 'I GOT THE SEWER BEAST' - He's a cutie and well worth the terrifying death. Comment by Wolvergreen In the 3+ years I've been playing WoW, I've seen this mob once. I saw it when I first started playing and my main toon didn't even have his first mount. If it didn't happen to be my hunter, I never would've even seen it.
I casually mentioned something in guild chat about some high level croc with a silver dragon portrait just chillin' in the sewer. The guild leader whispered me, then swapped to his DK to come kill it. At the time I thought it was one of the funniest things to see such a mob just hanging out in the main city.
Comment by Xapthulhu I started playing WoW in 2004, i started a human mage not knowing what the hell i was doing, i levelled it until the point where i came to stormwind when i saw the canals i instantly flashed back to all the platformers i played as a kid, so of course i jumped in to see if i could swim. I swam under the water and saw this huge mob, so i attacked it not knowing what a level? I died instantly, and when i tried to tell people what happened they all said there wasn't anything in the water that could do that.
I type this now, because over 7 years later and a faction change back to alliance and I JUST SAW IT AGAIN. It does exist. I got my revenge. Comment by Foazia Realm: Eonar Co-ords: 50.8, 62.9 Just on my way to The Three Winds for transmog when SilverDragon alerts me of a rare nearby.
I target it to find out it's a 'Sewer Beast' and I think 'Well it probably won't drop any good loot.' ' Thinking this I kill it and it drops a grey quality tooth. Yay(!) Not really knowing what it was I came on WoWhead to find out it CAN drop other stuff and hunters can tame it..>Now I feel guilty because a hunter might of wanted it for a combat pet. Comment by Deihjan Ah, good ol' Sewie.
I remember back in 2006 when I first joined WoW and I made my way to Stormwind as a level 16'ish NE hunter. This was when Sewer Beast was rare, but not overly so and he'd be up practically every day unless someone killed him.
The first time I saw him I was awestruck, a skull-leveled monster of a crocolisk, the first white one I'd seen since they didn't exist in that model in Wetlands or Loch Modan, both zones I had braved a few hours before, and I decided I wanted him for my own. My journey to level 50 was a long one, but when I finally got there I tamed him almost straight away. In 4.0.3a I learned that several beasts had gone extinct, and I never did see Sewer Beast again since I quit WoW, rejoined WoW and went Horde, then race-changed back to Alliance.
Not until today did I learn that he never actually disappeared, and this rekindled my love for good ol' wheezie. I'm making myself a promise, I'll go scout him out on my Pandaren hunter as soon as I can, Hordie or not, I need my good old pal in my stable again. I'm sure other hunters will recognize the feeling I'm currently experiencing; a pet you bonded with stays a friend, through several patches, nerfs, buffs, race- and faction changes as well as switching classes, you'll always return to a favourite friend and trusted companion. Here's to Sewer Beast, the meanest ol' croc in Stormwind. Comment by Zaxy just saw him for the first time in all the years i've played (alliance). Contrary to a previous poster's comment, he did NOT stay still, but cruised the canal, quickly getting out of reach.
I flew up ahead, popped the tame, and a second after he attacked me, i saw his health pool drop to half. And then he was dead. I surfaced just in time to see a SW guard running back to his post.
My prize wasn't even lootable or skinnable! But gosh he was HUGE. Even if i didn't get to add him to my collection of rare and unusuals, i at least got to SEE him 'in the flesh!'
Comment by Socialatily I've only seen this mob once in my WoW experience. And the first time was this morning. I was heading off to the Transmogrification Place, I went in and Transmogged my gear. Walked out and saw the nameplate of 'Sewer Beast' then I thought, 'What is this?' I jumped in the water, clicked his portrait, and saw he was rare. He was at the end when I caught him, I tried to pull him closer to the dock, but a City Guard had already shot him.
Was a pretty sad moment. Boston F1 License Firearm. I really wanted his loot! Comment by Kaeldraa So today I was just hovering in the air on my sandstone and I see a red nameplate in the canals. I think to myself 'Why the hell is there red in the canals?
All that's there is fish!' So I fly down to investigate and see a rare crocolisk! (I will admit I almost fainted there.) I killed it, because I didn't want anyone else to, so I announced it in trade and got several whispers saying that I was lying and it was taken out of the game. So several people actually came to look at the corpse. I didn't really get much from it, just a tooth, but I wouldn't care if I did anyhow. What matters is that I've been playing WoW for quite a while and seen it ONCE!
Never thought any rares existed in capital cities! ~Kaeldraa of Maelstrom, Alliance. Comment by Alliekatt Just got killed by him on my little roguelette. Was at the end near King and made the mistake of right clicking him to see how many hit points he has.
Where i have throw bound. I didn't worry too much because it said evade, until he swam toward me an jumped up on the area I was calmly standing with my false sense of security. Yes, one bite with his 53k+ eliteness, and I was toast! My next thought was just logout dead and grab my hunter to tame him, when to my horror, the guards shot him.
3/1/2013 1:10pm EST Rivendare. Comment by clatt87 Tip for my Horde friends. I did a naked run through stormwind on my level 50 Troll Hunter (I wanted it to be glorious and old-school. Realistically you can have someone with a 2-person flying mount drop you in from the top now.) I started at the docks and ended in the shallow end of the canals by the old barracks hiding under the bridge. I then made a level one human and ran her to Stormwind and traversed the canals first thing everytime I would log on.
Finally I log on one day and ding NPC scan goes off and there's ol' Sewer Beast swimming back and forth in that short section of canal between the Harbor Entrance and the Old Barracks. So I logged to my hunter real quick, took a very short swim and successfully tamed me a sewer beast. Server is Bleeding Hollow - US, almost a 1 to 1 horde to ally ratio and steady high pop.
Just be prepared to wait and be patient. You might have to custom add him to NPC Scan as well and clear cache everytime it goes off for a carcass or one that's already been tamed.
Comment by Mekrautica I have a level 90 Worgen Hunter and I found out this morning that this rare Crocolisk, Sewer Beast is in fact still in game and is still tameable. I decided to take a trip thru Stormwind with my NPCscan addon activated. The addon did alarm that it found the Sewer Beast and he was swimming up and down the canal just in front of the Keep. I flew down into the canal at the ready, and while attempting to tame him, a Stormwind Guard was standing atop of the bridge that crosses over the canal was shooting at the rare with his Crossbow causing it to Evade in which was interrupting my channeled tame ability. The Stormwind Guard continued to shoot at the rare, killing it.WTF Blizzard.FML! Comment by rentard He may have been taken out of the game and then reintroduced.
Either that or his spawn rate has been raised. I'd only seen him once in about 5 years of play until recently. In the past few Weeks I've seen him 5 times. The first: he was a corpse, second: I forgot to dismiss Loque and he killed him, third, fourth and fifth: damn guards caused him to evade my tames and killed him. I guess I need to see him before they do and maybe use glyph of tame beast.
To those of you who want to kill him, don't! He doesn't drop anything of value and he is worthless to anyone but a hunter! Comment by ucantkillme funniest thing happened to me i was doing a 2v2 in dalaran sewers and theother team didnt leave the thing that you spawn in and eventually if you dont know what happens it will shoot you out if you stay in to long well they got shot out but they had a friend the sewer beast came flying out behind them and there was no hunter on there team it was a resto druid arms warrior comp so i was kinda shocked it just slammed right through the floor and was gone then i preceeded to win my arena lol just thought i would share this random thing with you guys (. Comment by MissMurda After 9 yrs trying to get this elusive creature, I finally tamed him today on Cairne around 9:30AM! I thought it was a myth cause I hadn't even SEEN this beast and as I was coming out the transmog building I saw a red bar that said sewer beast and it took me a second to realize what I was seeing.
I nearly choked on my coffee as I rushed to abandon one of my pets to tame this guy. Goes to show you find things when you're not even looking! I'm so happy! I was literally telling my newbie friend just last night how I've been searching for him for 9yrs and wasn't sure if he was real.
I can't wait to tell him when he gets on! So, in conclusion, never give up, the myth is real and he's still out there! Comment by Punka21 I just used my draenei shaman's Astral Recall, glyphed to go to the earthenshrine in Stormwind. She is level 60 as of right now. I mounted my Dread Raven, and flew toward the dock where the fishing dailies are given.
I noticed a white crocolisk swimming in the canal waters, and flew down to kill him. I soloed the level 50 beast, and I will keep his pointy crocolisk tooth in her bank forever. (I got my revenge on him for killing a different alt of mine, roughly level 20 at the time, a few years ago.) He still exists as of January 21st, 2016.
Comment by Junabee Step 1: Play with your significant other, on your loomed level 32s, roam around stormwind. Step 2: Spy a really neat looking rare spawn roaming under the bridge between Trade District and Old Town. Step 3: Engage in a long, terrifying battle that feels like a raid boss - your rogue tank takes 40% of her hp per auto, you might actually run oom despite your heirlooms.
Step 4: Be proud that you managed to kill a big, scary skull elite! Step 5: Go to wowhead to see what its loot table was, since what you get is awfully disappointing. And then feel absolutely terrible and post a public apology to hunters. Comment by Junabee Step 1: Play with your significant other, on your loomed level 32s, roam around stormwind.
